Owen Sound and District Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Welcoming Communities Grey Bruce to carry out a 12-month project to engage local employers and workplaces from all employment sectors (private and public) to make their workplaces more inclusive and welcoming for visible minorities, newcomers, and indigenous peoples.
The project will help employers and workplaces develop awareness, skills, policies, and procedures to ensure diverse employees are safe and valued, and thereby improve employers’ success in the recruitment and retention of the visible minority and Indigenous employees.
