WCGB is a vision and mission focused organization that has successfully managed collaborative, innovative projects, developed rural tools, and created resources to reduce barriers to inclusion.
This project will strengthen organizational capacity to develop social enterprise and create new opportunities for WCGB to fulfil its mission: ‘working towards an inclusive and welcoming Grey Bruce where differences are celebrated, and no one is left behind’.
It will enhance visibility, increase access and WCGB’s ability to engage employers, community groups and citizens, and generate needed revenues. Investment Readiness Program funding will set our social, financial, and organizational objectives for the enterprise and develop strategies for attaining them while answering: What are the priority community needs we can meet? How will the enterprise be delivered? Who will be helped? How does the enterprise advance the mission of WCGB? What resources are needed? What are the indicators of success? What social and financial outcomes will be addressed by the enterprise?
